“At the suggestion of a friend, I began attending the OmDrum drumming circle about a month ago. I am a drummer of sorts, never playing in a band or professionally, just tapping away when I have the chance, for spiritual and physical health, and pure fun. I love music and I love drumming! “I have played the drums off and on since my early teens, in various bands. I am now 59. I picked the sticks back up after graduating from architecture school in 1994, some band activity, but mostly drumming with friends. Fast forward: In March of 2021 I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Learning that the disease is combatted well with bodily movement, (including drumming!!!!!)
